MORGAN
Jesse Webster Morgan, 77, of Ronceverte, went Home to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, on May 1, 2021 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Jesse was born June 3, 1943 in Ronceverte and was the son of the late Webster Mason and Erma Morgan Morgan.
Jesse graduated from Greenbrier High School in 1962. He worked for Mountaineer Gas Company for 30 years and with the WV Department Natural Resources for 20 years. His true hobbies were cattle farming and bear hunting. Jesse was a member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, deacon of the church, overseer of the church cemetery, Sunday School teacher, and superintendent of the Sunday School classes.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Paul (Joey) Morgan, Glemma (Austin) Bradley, Thelma (John) McQuade, Theda (Dave) Campbell, Linda Shope; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Morgan.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Lottie Reed Morgan; his children, Edgar Mason Morgan (Judy) of Ronceverte and Nathan Morgan (Michelle) of Frankford; grandchildren, Andy Morgan, Macie Morgan; and step-grandchildren, Aimee and Anthony Richmond; great-grandchildren, Joscelynn and Aubrey Morgan; special brothers, Dave Morgan of Organ Cave, Andrew (Mary) Morgan of Organ Cave; sisters, Martha (Harold) Harrison of Lewisburg, Marcia (Wayne) Wickline of White Sulphur Springs, and JoAnn (Tommy) Honaker of Ronceverte; brother-in-law, Robert Shope of Organ Cave; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as several close friends.
Funeral services for Jesse will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church at Organ Cave with Pastor Wes Comer and Pastor Jesse Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.
