New River CTC Hosted Massage Therapy and Aesthetics Pinning Ceremony for Mercer County Students

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVDN) – New River Community and Technical College celebrated the achievements of its Mercer County Massage Therapy and Aesthetics students during a pinning ceremony held on Wednesday April 30, 2025, at Princeton City Hall.

During the ceremony, students were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their fields of study. Students were presented pins, symbolizing their transition from academics to professional practice. Family, friends, and college staff gathered to honor the students and celebrate this important milestone.

“We are proud of our students and the perseverance they have shown throughout their programs,” said Debbie Rogers, Instructional Specialist for Massage Therapy at New River CTC. “This ceremony marks the beginning of their careers in these rewarding industries.

The Massage Therapy and Aesthetics programs at New River CTC prepare students for licensure and provide the skills needed for success in the health, wellness, and beauty industries.
