RICHWOOD, W.Va. — The season ended for the Greenbrier West girls here Tuesday night.
The Lady Cavs didn’t go down without a fight.
Natalie Agee and Meagan Poticher both scored 10 points and West was within four after three quarters before falling to Richwood, 51-40, in a Class A, Region III, Section 2 semifinal.
Allison Dunn just missed double figures with nine points, Brooke Nutter had six, Raelyn Palmer added three and Braelyn Sanford chipped in two.
Trinity Amick scored 31 points for Richwood (7-10) and went over the 1,000 point mark in her career.
West’s girls, who had just eight players and no seniors on their roster, finished the season 1-15.
