SINKS GROVE W.Va. (WVDN) – Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the arrival of spring with some down-home Mountain Music and homemade cookin’ at this month’s Jammin’ at the Hunkerdown on Sunday, March 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. Doors will open an hour early at 3 p.m. for dinner.

The jams are free and open to the public. If you love to play, come join us. All styles of Appalachian music, as well as traditional, Celtic, and jam-friendly original material are welcome. Acoustic instruments only, please. If you prefer to sit and listen, come grab a seat and have some fun tappin’ your toes and singin’ along!

The Hunkerdown – a community-oriented coffee shop, always offers something yummy for dinner at the jams, along with assorted baked goods and signature coffee drinks. This time Irish stew, Bangers and Mash, St Patrick’s Day themed drinks and dessert specials will be on the menu!

The Hunkerdown is at 110 Fort Springs Road in Sinks Grove, WV. For more information, contact Cheryl Mansley at cherylmansley@gmail.com or 304-702-0554, or visit ArtBeat of the Mountains on Facebook.
