OAK HILL, W.Va. (WVDN) – Painting is a creative adventure, and paint and sip parties have become increasingly popular in recent years. On Saturday, Feb. 22, Wild and Wonderful Paint Parties will lead a class in painting the West Virginia black bear at The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill at ACE Adventure Resort. This will be a fun night out with a paintbrush in one hand and a tasty beverage in the other.
A paint and sip party is a combination of painting and socializing where the focus is on having fun and being creative. Simplicity meets artistic freedom in these instructor-led events. All materials are provided, including a 16×20 inch canvas, paints, apron, and easel. Paint and sip parties encourage artistic exploration for all skill levels, and this class is beginner friendly for adults and kids aged 10 and up.
Doors open at The Lost Paddle at 4:00 pm, with the workshop starting at 6:00 pm and wrapping up about 8:15 pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase (must be at least 21 years old to purchase and/or consume alcohol).
