Shirley Ann Massie
Shirley Ann Massie, 87, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Stonerise in Rainelle.
She was born July 28, 1937, in Frankford, WV, and was the daughter of the late Rufus Roy Hefner and Althea Dotson Hefner.
Shirley loved to travel, especially to Wrightsville Beach. She loved fishing with her husband. Shirley helped start the Nazarene Church in Ronceverte and singing at the church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Beulah, Eula, and Violet; and brothers, William, Lester, and Kyle.
Surviving Shirley are her husband of 63 years, Billie A. Massie; sister, Evelyn Miller of Vago; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Shirley requested that only a graveside service be held, which will be on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Henning Church of God Cemetery with Pastor Robert Hefner officiating.
