The White Sulphur Springs Little League will be holding in-person signups today from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in preparation for conducting a full season of baseball activity, according to league President Jessica Estep.
Today’s sign-up event will be held at the baseball field at Hope Village in White Sulphur Springs. Look for the baseball building down below the playground area.
Estep said that this will be the league’s only in-person sign-up event this year. Anyone interested in joining needs to bring proof of residency and a birth certificate. It costs $45 to sign-up but there are discounts for families with multiple kids.
“We hope to have a full season,” Estep said.
The little league group will have about three T-ball teams, approximately one coach-pitch team, one minor team and one major team.
Once teams are set they will play in a competition against other regional little league teams.
If you can’t make it to today’s event you can still sign-up online using the link on the group’s Facebook page: “WSS Little League Baseball” (@wsslittleleague).
