RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – On Sunday, Jan. 19, Mary Dailey and Cheryl Mansley of the Appalachian duo Little Maggie will hold the first of their 2025 Old-Time Mountain Music Jams at The Sportsman Tavern in downtown Ronceverte. The jam focuses on traditional Appalachian and Celtic tunes and songs, as well as jam-friendly original material. So, if you play an instrument or love to sing, come join in. Acoustic instruments only, please. If you don’t play, come spend the evening, have some dinner and enjoy the music!
The jam will take place from 4-6 p.m. The Sportsman Tavern, located at 683 Edgar Ave W., Ronceverte, is family-friendly and offers food and drinks. It is one of the oldest bars in West Virginia and often features live music, trivia nights, paint-and-sip parties, and other events.
