CHARLESTON W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Wins Inaugural Committee launched the schedule for the inauguration festivities. The itinerary of events will begin Sunday evening and run through Monday night’s inaugural ball. The committee also launched a new website so West Virginians can learn more about the various events and how they can participate.

“To mark this historic day, West Virginians from every part of the state will gather to celebrate what unites us, and we will inspire each other for the work ahead,” said Governor-elect Patrick Morrisey. “We will fight and win for our West Virginia way of life so we will once again be that shining state in the mountains!”
The itinerary includes a series of free events for the public, including the swearing-in ceremony, inaugural parade and more.
Monday, Jan. 13, in Charleston
9 a.m. – Faith-Based Breakfast
11 a.m. – Swearing-In Ceremony
12 p.m. – Coffee, Cocoa and Cookies
1:30 p.m. – Inaugural Parade
2:30 p.m. – West Virginia Cultural Exhibits
5:30 p.m. – Celebration of West Virginia Concert
7 p.m. – Cocktail Reception
7:30 p.m. – Inaugural Dinner
9 p.m. – Black-Tie Ball
