SINKS GROVE W.Va. (WVDN) – Mary Dailey and Cheryl Mansley of the Appalachian vocal duo Little Maggie have had a blast bringing their monthly Old-Time Mountain Music Jam to The Hunkerdown. Their December jam will be Sunday, Jan. 15 from 4 to 6 p.m., and doors will open at 3 p.m. for dinner. In addition to the usual Old-Time Music, Celtic tunes, and jam-friendly original material – songs that celebrate the holiday season will also be shared. Acoustic instruments only, please.

Tammy and Guy McAninch, owners of The Hunkerdown, always offer a choice of two delicious soups at the jams, along with fresh-made bread, assorted baked goods, and their signature coffee drinks.

The Hunkerdown is a community-oriented coffee shop at 110 Fort Springs Road in Sinks Grove.

For more information, contact Cheryl Mansley at cherylmansley@gmail.com or 304-702-0554, or visit ArtBeat of the Mountains on Facebook.
