One who creates a written work is known as an author. One who does it with award-winning talent is known as Hannah Linder. As a resident of central West Virginia, this young author pens Regency romantic suspense novels. With pages filled with passion, secrets and danger, readers find themselves captivated by a fictional world that quickly begins to feel very real.

One of the most important ingredients in a successful work of fiction is the ability to pull readers in and allow them to create a connection with the characters. This young author has seemingly perfected the art of making that connection, and she does it through observation. “I think people are my biggest inspiration,” says Linder. “Watching people, listening to the things they say and seeing the looks on their faces.”

Linder’s latest title, Never Forgotten, was released on Nov. 1, with Barbour Publishing. “It’s a Regency romance suspense,” says Linder.  Currently available on Amazon, Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble to name a few, this 320-page paperback is already racking up impressive customer reviews just weeks after being released.

Having self-published her first book at age 12, the now 25-year-old author has developed her own creative process. “I usually write in the mornings and I definitely have to have quiet,” says Hannah. “I can’t concentrate with music or voices,” she adds with a smile. “Sometimes I write over the weekend and I’ll spend a whole Saturday writing.”

In 2025, Hannah Linder will release another Regency novel, The Red Cottage, although an exact release date has not been set. In addition, the second volume of her poetry book will be released next year. When asked about her career goals, Linder was quick to answer. “A big goal for me is to one day hit the New York Times Bestseller list,” she says.

Hannah Linder is a four-time Selah Award winner, a 2024 Carol Award finalist, a 2023 Angel Book Award third place winner, and a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW). She is also a graphic designer specializing in professional book cover design. For more information on upcoming events, new releases or to purchase her books, visit HannahLinderBooks.com.
