White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. (WVDN) – Republican Governor Jim Justice, a lifelong West Virginian, successful businessman, high school basketball coach, and family man, has resoundingly won the United States Senate race in West Virginia.
Expressing his gratitude, Governor Justice stated, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you, West Virginia, thank you so much. It has been the honor of my life to serve as governor, and now, I will proudly represent you in the U.S. Senate. As a patriot and a conservative, I firmly believe in America’s greatness and am committed to putting America and West Virginia first in the U.S. Senate.”
Surrounded by over 700 family, friends, and supporters, including his soon to be new colleague U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito, at The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Governor Justice committed to reversing the Harris/Biden Administration’s policies that are hurting West Virginia families, including record-high inflation, securing the Southern Border, and putting America back on a path to energy independence with West Virginia coal, natural gas, and oil.
“It’s early in the night, and I pray we re-elect my friend President Donald Trump,” continued Justice. “In the U.S. Senate, I will fight to make sure the America First agenda, which is good for West Virginians, is a priority.”
Governor Justice attributed his massive victory to his gubernatorial achievements, including historic budget surpluses, the largest personal income tax cut in state history, and record job creation and economic growth. In addition, he has been a champion of conservative, traditional values with a commitment to protecting life and, as an outdoorsman, an unwavering pledge to protect the Second Amendment.
“It is my absolute highest honor to now serve West Virginia as a Republican Senator in the U.S. Senate. We have flipped one seat in the U.S. Senate to the Republicans, and I pray Donald Trump is elected and we celebrate many more U.S. Senate victories across the country tonight,” concluded Justice.
