FAIRLEA W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greenbrier Pregnancy Center located in Fairlea, is a nonprofit organization providing confidential, caring, and completely free services.  We offer support, education, resources, and tools that enable women, men and families to make the best decisions possible during pregnancy-related situations. Greenbrier Pregnancy Center serves Greenbrier, Monroe, Summers and Pocahontas counties.

The programs include pregnancy testing (self-administered), Education on carrying the baby to term, the options for adoption, prenatal and postnatal care, referrals to other community programs, and the risks associated with abortion (they do not perform or recommend abortion) as well as peer counseling and post-abortion peer counseling.

Additionally, they offer an “Earn While You Learn” Program (EWYL) designed to let parents earn credits that can be used to “purchase” items needed both during and after pregnancy. These items include maternity clothing, diapers, blankets, car seats, strollers, pack-n-plays and other supplies. EWYL is a referenced and reliable educational program.

Greenbrier Pregnancy Center is a Christ-centered ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of human life and sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ through compassionate, nonjudgemental help to women and men in areas of pregnancy, post-abortion trauma and purity. They accomplish this through Biblical counseling, education and services from conception through infant care. Coming soon they will be able to provide a limited obstetric ultrasound.

Regardless of income, all of their services are completely free. Without the continuing support from the community, churches and private donors, this center would not be possible. All donations collected are tax deductible and used for the benefit of the pregnancy center. If you are interested in making a one-time donation, or a much-needed monthly contribution, please mail your gift to:

Greenbrier Pregnancy Center, 9605 Seneca Trail South Suite A, Lewisburg, WV  24901.

Organization officials believe that Greenbrier Pregnancy Center saves lives, and “we truly appreciate your support of this center. Please join us for our grand opening, on Nov. 16, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Fairlea location.”
