Ann Field Bell, 92, of Asheville, NC, died on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community.
Ann was a native of Brooklyn, NY. She was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, and taught at the Greenbrier College in Lewisburg, WV, from 1949 to 1951.
Later, she served as a volunteer with music groups in Connecticut, South Carolina, and Georgia. She was a resident of the Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Mason Bell; her daughter, Elizabeth Ellis (David) of Wilmington, OH; son, Robert Mason Bell (Kim) of Charlotte, NC; and grandson, Mason Thomas Bell (Samantha) of Fort Mitchell, AL.
Interment will be at the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, with family members present at a graveside service.
It is respectfully requested that there be no flowers or memorials.
Asheville Area Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services in Asheville is in charge of arrangements.
