RAINELLE- On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23, Rainelle Medical Center held an event at their Rainelle location celebrating 50 years of service to the community.
Around 200 people or so attended and the speakers included the CEO of Rainelle Medical Center Kristi Atha-Rader, board members, Tammy Shifflett-Tincher, and a couple employees that shared stories about their time with the company and the hope that the outstanding medical care will prosper for another 50 years into the future.
The director of Human Resources/Marketing Lisa Redden, was thanked multiple times for putting in the work to make the celebration possible.
After the main ceremony, staff members of Rainelle Medical Center held a ribbon that was cut by Atha-Rader to unveil the brand-new Mobile Access Care Center which will be taken around for students in the communities they serve. Terra Skaggs, the Director of School-Based Health, will oversee the unit. There is video on our Facebook page—the West Virginia Daily News—of the ribbon cutting.
There were also awards given out, the pledge of allegiance recited, and the event was dismissed with a group prayer.
It was a highly successful day in Rainelle celebrating 50 years of service for the Rainelle Medical Center.
