Gary Michael Kreiger, age 54, of Crawley, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV.
Born on November 15, 1965, in New Jersey, he was the son of Richard C. and Jeanette M. Sorochinski Kreiger.
Gary was employed at the Collins Aerospace Plant in Pickaway, WV. Prior to his employment at the plant, Gary worked in the flooring and carpet industry for over 20 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved being outdoors. Gary also enjoyed working in his garden, tending to his flowers, and yard work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, George Ondecker; and three brothers-in-law, Charles Ervin Martin, Jackie W. Wilson, and Lawrence Taylor.
Survivors include, his loving wife, Kathy Martin Kreiger of Crawley; one son, Tyler Kreiger of Alderson, WV; Tyler’s mother, Cindy Loftus of Alderson; one stepson, Chad Ripley (Crystal) of Zenith, WV; one stepdaughter, Misty Sites (David) of Williamsburg, VA; one brother, Richard Ondecker (Pat) of Waynesboro, VA; two sisters, Lorraine D. Kreiger of Greentown, PA, and Chrissy Odecker of Virginia; special caregiver, Dakota Ripley of Crawley; mother-in-law, Ennis R. Martin of Salt Sulphur, WV; four step grandchildren, Dakota Ripley, Caroline Sites, Daniel Sites, and Caden Ripley; four special sisters-in-law; five special brothers-in-law; and two nieces.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home Chapel in Union, WV, with Pastor Grant Pettit officiating. Burial followed at the Wickline Cemetery in Zenith.
Co-workers of Gary served as pallbearers.
