BECKLEY W.Va. (WVDN) – The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) and West Virginia Hive, proud sponsors of Bridge Day 2024, invite you to join them on Saturday, October 19, for an exciting day of celebration and entrepreneurship! As part of the 44th annual Bridge Day festivities, the NRGRDA and West Virginia Hive will be showcasing and selling products from five of our innovative clients at our booth. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and we encourage everyone to stop by and discover the unique, locally produced goods these entrepreneurs have to offer.

This year, the WV Hive is excited to present the following client businesses, who will be selling their products at the NRGRDA/WV Hive booths 189-190 South:

  • Auntie E’s – Delicious, home-baked treats made with love.
  • Headwaters Hemp – High-quality hemp products grown and processed in West Virginia.
  • Mountain Table – Locally sourced, farm-to-table food products.
  • Pebble Nest Jewelry – Handcrafted jewelry inspired by nature’s beauty.
  • Evolve PT – On-site dry needling.

In addition to these clients, the WV Hive is honored to recognize additional clients participating in Bridge Day this year:

JarHead Farm – Booth 0 (Zero) North – Local jams, jellies, syrups and dried fruits.

The Pickle Guy – Booth 55 South – Unique and delicious pickles.

Wild & Wonderful Paint Parties – Booth 181 South – WV’s premier mobile paint and sip.

Judy Moore, Executive Director of the West Virginia Hive and Deputy Director of NRGRDA, encourages everyone attending Bridge Day to visit the display and connect with the NRGRDA and WV Hive team. “Bridge Day is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate not only the beauty of the New River Gorge but also the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of local business owners,” said Moore. “We invite everyone to stop by, meet these talented entrepreneurs, purchase their products, and learn more about how WV Hive and NRGRDA support small businesses across southern West Virginia.”

Bridge Day is one of the largest one-day festivals in West Virginia, attracting thousands of visitors from across the country. Be sure to make the WV Hive booth one of your stops to explore and purchase some of the best local products and get inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of West Virginia.

The WV Hive is the entrepreneurship program of the NRGRDA. Its 13-county service area includes Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas, Summers, Webster, Pocahontas, Greenbrier, Monroe, Mercer, Wyoming, McDowell, Logan, and Mingo counties.
