Kenny Garland Milliner, 70, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, formerly of Landgraff, WV, departed this life on Monday, January 27, 2020, at the Brier Nursing Home in Lewisburg, WV.
Kenny was born on September 17, 1949, to John and Elizabeth Milliner.
He was a graduate of Northfork High School and upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam era. Kenny was affiliated with the Baptist faith. He was employed with ABB in Lewisburg until his health started to decline.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James “Jimmy” Milliner; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Kenny leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 32 years, Dorothy Milliner; one son, Jerry Gore of Melbourne, Australia; his sister, Nadine Milliner-Burns of Winston-Salem, NC; two brothers, Michael Milliner (Cecelia) of Winston-Salem and Gerald Milliner (Tammie) of Accokeek, MD; mother and father-in-law, Theodore and Alice Sharp of White Sulphur Springs; brothers-in-law, Chester Sharp (Tammy) and James Sharp (Ruth) both of White Sulphur Springs, WV; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, with the Rev. Greg Scott and Pastor Kathie Holland officiating.
Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery in Bluefield, WV, with military honors.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
