New River Community and Technical College is offering mine electricians the opportunity to complete their required 8-hour retraining course for card renewal. The class will be offered on two dates: Friday, November 1, 2024, and Friday, December 13, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with both in-person and Zoom options available. The in-person session will take place at the Nicholas County Campus (NCC) at 6101 Webster Rd Summersville, WV 26651.

The cost for the retraining course is $50, and participants are encouraged to preregister by October 25 for the November class and December 6 for the December session.

New River CTC is committed to supporting the ongoing professional development of West Virginia’s workforce. This retraining course ensures mine electricians maintain their certification and stay current with the necessary skills and safety regulations.
