Celina “Frankie” Bostic
Celina “Frankie” Bostic, age 90, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Frankie was born May 2, 1934, in Auto, WV. She was the daughter of Lee and Nannie Faulkner.
Survivors include her sister, Brownie Dunn; daughters, Teresa Bostic, Tammy Bostic McCraw, and Vickie Bostic; five grandchildren, Stephanie Blankenship of Quinwood, WV, Jared McCraw (Devin) of Sinks Grove, WV, Justin McCraw of Ronceverte, WV, Chad Saunders (Elizabeth) of Melbourne, Australia, and Zachary Saunders (Heather) of Vinton, VA; nine great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Finn Blankenship, Preston and Teegan McCraw, Eason McCraw, Thea, Ryan, and Kobe Saunders, and Ellie Saunders. Frankie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Bubby” Bostic; her parents; and several brothers.
Frankie retired from the telephone company after 31 years of service and later enjoyed 15 years working at Jackson’s Ladies Shop in Lewisburg.
Frankie attended Edgewood and later Clifton Presbyterian Churches. She was active in Sunday School and Women’s Circle. Frankie was a member of PEO Chapter F in Lewisburg.
She has donated her body to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. No service is scheduled for her at this time by her wishes.
