FAIRLEA- Greenbrier East hosted “Volley in the Valley” on Saturday, Sept. 21 when 20 teams from around the state showed up to compete. The Spartans performed extremely well and made it to the championship game of the Gold Bracket before falling to Bridgeport, who is coached by former Greenbrier East Spartan Ali Curry, in two close sets.
“The girls played awesome,” head coach Matt Sauvage said.
