Wrapping up the decade, 2019 brought Greenbrier and Monroe counties new challenges, debates, representation, and reasons to come together. Throughout the year, The West Virginia Daily News has reported on these triumphs and pitfalls, the new and departing faces, and the efforts to make life better.
2019 saw the passing of the baton for several local police agencies and government bodies, fond farewells for dedicated citizens and some closure for pending court cases.
