Rema Faye Wong
Rema Faye Wong of Lewisburg, WV, passed away in the early morning hours of September 12, 2024.
Born January 8, 1941, she lived most of her adult life in Lewisburg, WV, where she and her husband, Noel Wong, built a beautiful life together. Not only was she a loving wife, but also the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt a person could ever ask for.
Rema got joy from many things in life, like flower and vegetable gardening, but her family and her pets were her absolute world. She had a big heart, and she loved and was loved by many. She did many things over the course of her life, including working at her church, Rhema Christian Center. But her true legacy was her ability to provide guidance, support, motivation, and love to every person around her, whether it be family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers. She left a profound impact on many.
Rema is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael Wong (and Robin), Gregory Wong (and Darlene Brown), Pamela Shirley (and Danny), and Debbie Lusher (and Terry). She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica Neff (and Frank), Christopher Wong (and Marize), Deborah Wright (and Doug), Jeffrey Lusher, Heather Gray. She was survived by one brother, Terry Adkins. Rema also left behind 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that she loved very much.
Rema was preceded in death by her loving husband, Noel Wong; her sisters and brothers, Lawton Keeton, Francis, David Keeton, Etta Ross, and Jerry Adkins; her daughter-in-law, Ann Wong; and great-grandson, Mason Wright.
Rema was of strong Christian faith. Oh, what a happy day it must be in Heaven, because they gained a true earthly angel.
