Frank Robert Cox, 96, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at his residence.
Born on January 6, 1923, in Alta Vista, VA, he was a son of Thomas and Gracie Carr Cox.
Frank was of the Methodist faith, was retired from ABB, and was an Army Staff Sgt. during WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Mae Scott Cox, in 2010.
He is survived by four sons, Thomas R. Cox of White Sulphur Springs, David Lee Cox of Howell, NJ, Mel Cox of Boca Raton, FL, and Charles Cox of Deerfield, FL; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, George A. Cox of Lynch Station, VA.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with the Rev. Buck Caldwell officiating. Interment will be at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
