SMOOT W.Va. (WVDN) – Smoot Elementary School recently celebrated the completion of its new walking trail, a project made possible through the collaboration of local groups, including the DK Cale Trust and Seneca Trail Charitable Foundation. Principal Molly Judy joined representatives from JD Loudermilk Paving for a photo to commemorate the occasion. In a show of appreciation, preschoolers from Smoot posed with thumbs up, sending a heartfelt thank you to the community organizations that helped turn the trail into a reality. This new addition aims to promote outdoor activity and enhance the school’s wellness initiatives.
