Dorothy “Sis” Puffenbarger
Dorothy “Sis” Puffenbarger, 77, of Crawley, passed away on Monday night, September 9, 2024.
She was born on November 22, 1946, in Meadow Bridge; she was the daughter of the late Samuel Okulovich and Beulah McGuire Okulovich.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clay “Wes” Puffenbarger, Jr. in 2021; a daughter, Jean Rudd; grandson, Kelly Rudd; two sisters, Lena and Teresa; five brothers, Roy, Sam Raymond, Sydney, and Frankie Okulovich.
Dorothy owned and operated her own upholstery for many years and worked at The Greenbrier Hotel. Sis was one of the founders of the Throttle Throbs Car Club. She enjoyed sewing, flowers, gardening, and canning. She loved her family, and she was a great cook. She will be missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, John (Sybil) Zickafoose, Jack Zickafoose (Yvonne Bennett); daughter, Judy (Mason) Morgan; grandchildren, Jackie, Julie, Jenna, Alicia, Canyon, Shae, Cody, Brooke, Anthony, and Amie; many great-grandchildren; brother, Wesley Eugene Okulovich; as well as extended family members.
Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2024, at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may visit with the family Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
