Thelma Quinn, 90, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019, at the CAMC Memorial in Charleston, WV.
Thelma was born on August 17, 1929, in Richlands, WV, to Hugh and Ida Mae Whitt Burr.
Thelma was a member of the Lewisburg Church of Christ and was a devoted Christian. She had a beautiful personality, a heartwarming smile, and was loved by many. She was a cook and waitress at the Greyhound Bus Terminal and was employed at the Greenbrier Women’s College.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Quinn; a daughter, Diane Allender; son, Melvin Quinn; and a grandson, Johnny Quinn.
Survivors include a son, Montie Quinn of Ronceverte; grandchildren, Brian Quinn of Charleston, Angela Grimmett of Rainelle, WV, Jack Quinn of Wheeling, WV, Victoria Quinn of Connersville, IN, Kalene Quinn of Ronceverte, Kimberly King of Ronceverte, Angel Alder of Frankford, WV, Alicia Tyree of Lynchburg, VA, Shana Hamrick of Lewisburg, WV, and Delilah Dixon of Caldwell, WV; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Youel Altizer officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens.
