You will notice we are starting our annual Penny Pitch fundraising campaign in The West Virginia Daily News today.
Our graph will run now through Christmas. We will run updated lists as donations are received. Our goal this year is $70,000. We are hoping to reach it by Christmas Eve, so we can help local families and children have toys, and warm winter clothing for winter.
Every family we help also receives a food box with staple items; like potatoes, peanut butter, rice, soup etc. We need your help to reach our goal again this year. A lot of children in the area depend on your donation to have something for Christmas.
If you need help this year for Christmas the deadline to return the application is November 9, as applications will be distributed to local volunteers to start the interview process.
If you need help, you need to fill out an application, from either The West Virginia Daily News or Greenbrier Valley Ranger. We also have applications available at our office located at 188 Foster Street in Lewisburg.
Penny Pitch is neighbor helping neighbor in our area. All of the money collected stays locally to help local families.
