RAINELLE W.Va. — Greenbrier County residents can take advantage of a tire collection event on Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The collection will be held at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, located at 6 John Raine Drive in Rainelle.

The tire collection is open exclusively to state residents; tires from businesses will not be accepted. Participants are asked to observe social distancing guidelines during the event.

To ensure a smooth process, there is a strict limit of 10 tires per person. All tires must be removed from their rims prior to drop-off. Only passenger car and light truck tires will be accepted; tires from other vehicles or types will not be permitted.

This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for residents to responsibly dispose of old tires, helping to maintain community cleanliness and environmental health.
