Willard Lake Waid, 66, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Sunday, October, 20 2019, at home in Ronceverte, surrounded by his family.

Born in Alvon, WV, on March 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Willard Lewis and Helen Mae Dolin Waid.

Willard Lake Waid, 66, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away on Sunday, October, 20 2019, at home in Ronceverte, surrounded by his family.

Born in Alvon, WV, on March 1, 1953, he was the son of the late Willard Lewis and Helen Mae Dolin Waid.

Willard worked for Southern Management Corporation for 42 years. He loved hunting and fishing, and was a hard worker.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cathy Lee Waid; daughters, Tina Ratliff, Denise Waid, and Helen Wagner; son, Willard Waid Jr.; sisters, Delores Ryder, Joetta Lilly, and Bethel Anderson; brother, Delmas Waid; grandchildren, Robyn Defibaugh, Emily Nickell, Todd Wagner, Austin Defibaugh, Laken Waid, Chance Wagner, Levi Wagner, Faith Marks, Carson Waid, Waylon Waid, and Adria Thompson; and one great-grandchild, Esmereé Brown.

There will be a family graveside service at a later date.
