WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) — Wilber Curtis Arnold Jr., 58, of White Sulphur Springs, pleaded guilty in federal court on August 21 to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
According to court documents, Arnold was arrested at his home in April on a warrant when officers discovered a Winchester Model 190 .22 caliber rifle. Additionally, Arnold allegedly had brought a Rock Island Armory Model 1911 .45 caliber handgun to a business in White Sulphur Springs, where he sold it for $300.
Arnold is scheduled to be sentenced on December 19. He was prohibited from owning firearms due to a prior felony conviction for possession with intent to deliver cocaine, which occurred on March 7, 2016.
