Cheryl K. Hylton Ramsey, 69, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.
Cheryl was born in Ronceverte to the late Charles Clayton Hylton and Ramah Ufa Hinkle Hylton on October 22, 1949.
Cheryl retired from Greenbrier Physicians after over 40 years of loyal service as a lab technician.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Ramsey; a sister, Alice Christine; two brothers, Charles and Doug; as well as her a grandson, Justin Surbaugh.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Surbaugh (David Alderman) of Lewisburg; granddaughter, Lauren Surbaugh; brother, Denzil Hylton of Graham, NC; sister, Pamela Massey of Fort Spring, WV; and special sister-in-law, Linda Hylton of Ronceverte.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 14, 2019, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roger McDaniel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute should consider making donations to the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg.
