Patricia A. Peek, 75, of Ronceverte, WV, entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte.
Pat was born on August 5, 1944, in Ronceverte, and was the daughter of the late Wallace E. and Thelma Jean McCormick Turner.
She was a member of the First Church of God of Ronceverte, where she also was a member of the Women’s Group. She was also a former member of the Mutual Improvement Club and the Ronceverte Firemettes. Most importantly, she enjoyed many years of raising and loving many area children.
Surviving are her husband, Richard H. Peek; daughter, Christina Defibaugh (Jason) of Crawley, WV; granddaughter, Sara L. Defibaugh of Crawley; great-granddaughter, Anna Leise Defibaugh; sisters, Millie Taylor (Robert) of Fairlea, WV, Mary Isaacs (Mike) of Fairlea, and Brenda Miller (Rusty) of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Johnnie Turner (Shirley) and Donnie Turner (Janet), both of Fairlea; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Church of God of Ronceverte c/o Stewart Beard, 435 Matthews Road, Ronceverte, WV 24970.
