Fall sports practices got underway on Monday, August 5 and at Greenbrier East and Greenbrier West, football was at the center of it all.
Both teams have braved the warm temperatures, and all signs are that everything has gone well so far.
West coach Kelly Vaughan said his team has 54 kids out this year and the practices are full of good vibes. His focus is on getting his team to Charleston for the state tournament.
East head coach Ray Lee will speak on his team this weekend. The Spartans have been practicing at 4:30 each evening.
Also, stay tuned for coach and player interviews leading up to the opening night on August 30.
