Valerie Marie Hamilton, 63, of Frankford, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 13, 2019, at the CAMC General Hospital.
Born on March 16, 1956, in Frankford, she was the daughter of Edith Blankenship.
Valerie was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and was a member of the Grace Bible Church in Asbury, WV. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was one of the sweetest souls you would ever meet.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Blankenship; and a nephew, Keith McCoy.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles Hamilton; son, Nathan Hamilton of Gauley Bridge, WV; daughter, Crystal Homer (Neal) of Lewisburg, WV; grandchildren, Cooper Homer and Nathan Hamilton Jr.; brother, Danny Holland of Frankford; sisters, Brenda Scott (David) of Frankford, Michelle Hefner (Richard Martinez) of Matthews, NC, and Missy Kasprzak (Marc) of Yadkinville, NC; sisters-in-law, Goldie Lambert (Danny) and Victoria Caruthers (Jim Richmond), all of Frankford; former sister-in-law and good friend, Jackie Holland of Charleston, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, September 16, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, with Pastor Mike Teubert officiating. Burial will follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Frankford.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at the funeral home.
