Mildred Louise Clutter, 65, of Williamsburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at her home.
Born on April 17, 1954, in Williamsburg, she was the daughter of James Henry and Cleo Campbell Thrasher Simmons.
Mildred attended the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James and Charlie Simmons; and sisters, Katherine Simmons and Sarah Ford.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Lee Clutter; son, Robert Derrick Clutter (Jennifer) of Williamsburg; daughters, Angela Lewis (Michael) of Renick, WV, and Jennifer Clutter of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Brooklyn Clutter, Kaitlynne Lewis, Caden Callison, Michael Clutter, and James Clutter; great-grandchildren, Daisy Clutter and to be expected, Lena Boone; brothers, Glen Simmons (Joan) of Lewisburg, WV, and Ira Simmons of Williamsburg; sisters, Anne Jarrett of Williamsburg, Barbara Hunter of Ronceverte, WV, Mary Simmons of Williamsburg, and Helen Wellmon (Al) of Greensboro, NC; special “adopted” granddaughter, Elizabeth Jarrell; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901. There will be no service.
It was Mrs. Clutter’s wish to be cremated.
