Marianna Hayes Hanna, 80, of Frankford, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at the White Sulphur Springs Center in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Born on August 6, 1939, in East Rainelle, WV, she was the daughter of Marion Watts Hayes and Mary Edgar McClung Hayes.
She graduated from both Lewisburg High School and Concord College. She was a retired teacher, former member of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church, and was a current member of the Frankford Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Powers Hanna; a granddaughter, Faith Hanna; and grandson, Brady Powers Mickey.
Surviving are her children, Michele Lyn Hanna of Frankford, Michael Lee Hanna (Shane) of Ronceverte, WV, Peri Ann Hanna Mickey (Robert) of Pittsfield, MA, and Cary Douglas Hanna (Cheryl) of Frankfort, KY; grandchildren, Patrick Mickey (fiancée Ashley Brandies), Ryan Mickey (fiancée Erica Allen), Keegan Mickey, Josie Hanna, Mikayla Hanna, Jake Hanna, and Brooke Hanna; great grandchildren, Maisey Mickey and Jonas Mickey.
Funeral service will be at noon on Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Frankford Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Susan Sharp Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, WV.
