HARRISON COUNTY W.Va. (WVDN) – A woman was stabbed multiple times near Lost Creek on Friday, June 21. The West Virginia State Police released the following statement:

“On Friday, June 21, 2024 Tpr. I. L. Bowman responded to a stabbing which occurred off of Good Hope Pike near the community of Lost Creek (Harrison County).  Tpr. Bowman, and Tpr. I. M. Harmon arrived on scene along with members of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department to discover the accused, Debbie Joy Bise, 65 of Lost Creek, WV had stabbed Sarah Colleen Puckett multiple times. Sarah Puckett, 31 of Lost Creek, WV, was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital to be treated for her injuries where she is currently in stable condition. Mrs. Bise was arrested on scene and charged with Malicious Wounding. The status of this investigation remains active and ongoing.”

At the time of publishing, Bise is in North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $200,000.
