Robert C. Byrd Clinic and Greenbrier Humane Society Partner for “Paws-4-Wellness” Community Event

LEWISBURG, WV — The Robert C. Byrd Clinic (RCBC) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Greenbrier Humane Society for a community event called “Paws-4-Wellness.” This collaboration aims to promote the health and well-being of both humans and animals in Greenbrier County.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, June 22

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: In front of the Lewisburg Walmart

Free Health Screenings and Discounted Labs:

The RCBC will be offering free blood pressure checks and glucose level checks at the event. Additionally, they have partnered with Mako Labs to provide $25 lab tests that do not require insurance. These labs will measure HBA1C and lipid panels (including triglycerides, HDL/LDL, and total cholesterol).

Humane Society Supply Drive:

The event will also serve as a supply drive for the Greenbrier Humane Society. The following items are urgently needed:

Bleach

HE Laundry Detergent

Dawn Dish Soap

Paper Towels

13-gallon Trash Bags

Non-clumping Cat Litter

Contractor Trash Bags

Dry Dog Food

Dry Cat Food

Small Bites Dry Dog Food

Gallon-sized Ziploc Bags

Towels

Clorox Wipes

Clip-on Leashes

Various Collars

Cat/Dog Beds

Meat Stage 1 Baby Food (turkey, ham, chicken)

All-size Stainless-Steel Bowls

“We are excited to partner with the Greenbrier Humane Society for this important event,” said Joshua Barclay, Marketing Director for the Robert C. Byrd Clinic. “Paws-4-Wellness is a great opportunity for our community to come together, focus on their health, and support the animals in need at the Greenbrier Humane Society.”
