Carol Ann Bostic, 79, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born December 17, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of Slayter Wilson Hanson and Winona Maye Kelly Hanson.
She retired as a secretary for the West Virginia Department of Highways after over 20 years of service. She had also worked for over 20 years at C&P Telephone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Sherman Hanson and Gene Hanson.
Survivors include her loving hus-band of 50 years, Ralph Bostic; son, Donnie Hedrick and wife, Jessica, of Lewisburg; daughter, Debbie Boone and husband, Steve, of Organ Cave, WV; brother, Teddy Hanson and wife, Mary Ruth, of Lewisburg; sister, Sue James and husband, Charlie, of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Morgan Cutlip and husband, Tyler, and Brianna, Eden, Elam, and Ethan Hedrick; great-grandchildren, Tucker Cutlip and Luke Beeker; several nieces and nephews; her best friend of 57 years, Mary Ellen Windon; and many other friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
