Sarah Allalee Weikle, 79, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Genesis Mooresville Center of an extended illness.
Sarah was born July 20, 1939, at White Sulphur Springs, a daughter of Warden and Altha Campbell Foster.
She was a member of Wild Meadow Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Wayne Wikle, Sunday, September 2, 2018; a sister, Carol Foster Turner; and a grandson, Austin Wayne Wikle.
Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Harold Marshall Weikle Sr.; daughter, Julie Weikle Hamm of Kannapolis, NC; son, Harold “Marshall” Wikle Jr. of Mooresville, NC; sisters, Verna Wade Maye of White Sulphur Springs and Linda Foster Weikle of Union, WV; brothers, Leroy Foster of White Sulphur Springs and Danny Foster of Ronceverte, WV; and two step-grandchildren, Tatum Hamm Fisher and Robert Hamm Jr.
Joint funeral services with her son, John Wayne Wikle, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Wild Meadow Baptist Church, White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Roger McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Whatcoat Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12 p.m. until time of the service at the church on Saturday.
