Dallas March Propst Widney, 94, of Lewisburg, WV, formerly of Frank, WV, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, at Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Born on March 4, 1924, at Frank, she was the daughter of James Rankin and Eva Mae Simmons Propst.
Dallas was a member of the Old Stone Presbyterian Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Junior Widney; and a sister, Nola M. Fain.
Survivors include daughter, Candice Long and husband, Tom, of Covington, VA; sons, Stephen Hiner and wife, Nancy, of Fredericksburg, TX, Jon S. Widney and wife, Connie, of Gilbert, AZ, and Douglas Widney and wife, Kaye, of Fairmont, WV; grandchildren, Christopher Long and wife, Jayne, Jason Long and wife, Jennifer, Amy D. Widney, Evan D. Widney and wife, Molly, Heather Hiner, and Chad Hiner; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Long, Corbin Long, and Ashley Hiner.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at the Arbovale Cemetery with Pastor David Rittenhouse officiating.
There will be no visitation.
