Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Hoke, 64, of Covington, VA, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Dorothy was born on September 5, 1953, in Ronceverte, WV, to Dorothy Irene Ridgeway.
She worked at Walmart for many years.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy S. Hoke; sisters, Rose Vance, Shelby Tomlinson, Joyce Coffman, and Louise Hood; brothers, William “Bud” Ridgeway, Lacy Turner, and Jimmy Turner.
Survivors include sons, Tommy Edward “Tink” Hoke (Melonie) and Brian Hoke (Sandra); sisters, Peggy Holiday (Erskine) of Ronceverte, Bonnie Demo (Joe) of Roscommon, MI, and Sandy Bucklen (Vernon) of Lewisburg, WV; and grandchild, Makilynn Mae Hoke.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Hokes Chapel Cemetery in Covington.
Visitation for the public will be held from 1p.m. until time of service.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
