Nancy Fawcett Kaptis, 87, of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
She was born April 16, 1931, in Anderson, IN, to Claude E. Payne and Florence E. Ordson Payne.
Nancy was the owner/manager of The Allegheny Club. She attended Alvon United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Fawcett; second husband, George Kaptis; son, William Ray Fawcett; stepson, Tommy Kaptis; sisters, Mildred Jacobs and Louise Vrtacnik; and brother, Orville Payne.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudia Dawson (David) of Lubbock, TX; sons, David Fawcett (Deborah) of Covington, VA, Jeff Fawcett of Indian Harbor Beach, and Mike Fawcett (Stella Elgie) of Alderson, WV; stepdaughter, Janet Clinebell (Mike) of South Carolina; stepson, Jerry Kaptis (Nancy) of Mooresville, NC; nine grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Ed Craft officiating. Burial will follow at the Mapledale Cemetery at Mapledale, WV.
Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday July 13, 2018, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
