Last weekend, the Greenbrier West wrestling team put on a show and finished tied with Class A powerhouse Williamstown for first place in the Single A Challenge in Ritchie County.
West had four champions:
Tucker Lilly
Cole Vandall
Mathew Kesterson
Auston Mckenzie
Vandall was also recognized as the Single A Challenge most outstanding wrestler. Vandall led the Cavaliers to a state title game appearance in football this fall and now has continued his stellar senior season on the mat. He was a state champion wrestler last year as well.
