Marvin Byrd Weikle, 82, of Caldwell, WV, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Greenbrier Health Care Center, Lewisburg, WV.
Born November 30, 1935, at Hollywood, WV, he was the son of Elba and Verna Bostic Weikle.
Marvin retired from working in the bunker at the Greenbrier Hotel after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Greenbrier Valley Church of the Nazarene and attended Grace Baptist Church. He was loved by all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack and Palmer Weikle; and a son-in-law, Doug White.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Martha Vance Weikle; daughters, Diane Harmon, Lisa White and Mary Weikle, all of Caldwell, WV; grandchildren, Leo (Jerilyn) Weikle, Tamara (Terry) Simmons, Roger Harmon, Shawn White and fiancé, Samantha, Cody Weikle and girlfriend, Cheyenne, and Maggie Weikle; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Elijah, Shiloh, Lorelei, Malachi, Braxton, Carson, Paislee, Brooklyn, Raylynn, Douglas, and Carter; sisters, Frances and Doletta Weikle; and sisters-in-law, Leona Weikle and Gladys Wikle.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with the Rev. Kenny Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Park Cemetery, Second Creek, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Sunday, at the funeral home.
