Diane Marie Long, 72, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV, following an extended illness.
Diane was born November 4, 1945, in Greenbrier County, and was the daughter of Lacy W. and Lula E. Lawhorn Terry.
She was a member of Fort Spring Missionary Baptist Church, had worked as a telephone operator with C & P Telephone Company, and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Rhodes.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa Hayslett and husband, Stuart, of Covington, VA; a daughter and son; grandchildren, Melanie Marks and April Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Destiny Marks, Nevaeh Marks, Addyson Marks, and Owen Strudivant; sisters, Nancy Falls and husband, John, of Fairlea and Mildred Pitsenbarger and husband, Freddie, of White Sulphur Springs; and a brother, Larry Terry and wife, Bev, of Fairlea.
Funeral services for Mrs. Long will be on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 3 PM at the Fort Spring Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Jonathan Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery near Fort Spring, WV.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 PM until the time of services at the church.
