Ricky Neal McCarty, 59, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.
He was born December 29, 1957, in Princeton, WV, to Robert Franklin McCarty and Avis Lillian Hazelwood.
Ricky was enlisted in the United States Army and later worked for Lynch Construction as a mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Avis McCarty; and special aunt and uncle, Carl and Mary.
He is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Brenda Turner; son, Ricky McCarty of Roanoke, VA; brother, Bryant Keith McCarty and Marie Hinkle of Frankford, WV; sisters, Drema and Marty Young of North Carolina and Edith and Craig Scott of North Carolina; brothers, Roger Dale and Tammy McCarty of North Carolina and Billy and Tracy McCarty of Alderson, WV; half sister, Vicky and Don Lawrence of Princeton; several nieces and nephews; stepdaughter, Jessica and Jeremy Dowdy of White Sulphur Springs; beloved granddaughter, Baylee Dowdy; mother of his son, Teresa Eanes of Roanoke; and all of his family at Lynch Construction.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017, at the Bethesda Temple of Praise at 11 AM with Pastor Bobby McClintic officiating. Burial will follow at Morningside Cemetery in Renick, WV.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, from 6-8 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Greenbrier Humane Society.
