Donald Ray Coleman
Donald Ray Coleman, 88, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, went to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ and his beloved wife of 67 years, Armilda Craft Coleman, of a sudden illness on May 27, 2023, at General Division, CAMC in Charleston, WV, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 13, 1935, in White Sulphur Springs, WV, and was a son of the late Elmer Richard and Elsie Sizemore Coleman.
Donald attended Mount Pleasant Community Church in Sink Grove, WV. He retired from The Greenbrier Resort after 37 years of service.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Armilda; a sister, Mary Jane Bennett; a brother, Elmer Lee Coleman; son-in-law, Marvin Snedegar; and a grandson, Jason Snedegar.
Donald’s survivors are his two daughters, Alydia Snedegar of Union, WV, and Cindy (James) Hylton of Sinks Grove, WV; three brothers, Eddie Coleman, Darrell Coleman, and Elmer Richard Coleman, Jr. (Sammy); sister, Pat Tingler, all of White Sulphur Springs; brother-in-law, Alfred Craft, Jr. (Ruth) of Greensboro, TN; three grandchildren, Nicholas Fogus, Jeremy Hylton, and Isabella Hylton; two great-grandchildren, Jaedin Coleman and Nevaeh Coleman; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Donald will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, WV, with Pastor Gene Sizemore officiating. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery at Pickaway, WV.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas Fogus, Jeremy Hylton, Jaedin Coleman, Larry Tingler, Jr., Derrick Coleman, and Wes Hylton.
