RUPERT, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Rupert Public Library held its art show reception on Saturday, April 22. Entertainment was furnished by the Hidden Mountain Treasures band.
While the band played, visitors enjoyed viewing the art exhibits and deciding which painting was their favorite. Food prepared by the library trustees was enjoyed by all.
The blue-ribbon winners of the Rupert Public Library Art Show were:

Acrylics category: Misty Murray-Walkup
Oil category: Shelby Oreolt
Pastel category: Karen McClung
Mixed media: Linda Connolly
The Best of Show award went to Shelby Oreolt.
The People’s Choice award was a three-way tie between Sharon Johnson, Debra Spence and Doreen Alderman.
